Over the weekend I posted on My Persian Kitchen’s Facebook Fan page about how happy I was that Trader Joe’s now carries Lavash Bread. Some folks commented about Lavash being an Armenian bread. I came across this video and I found myself totally fascinated by the way these two women work together to create each sheet of Lavash bread. It is pretty impressive to see how they have it all down to a science! Regardless of where this video was shot, the Lavash making technique is pretty much the same. There is something very beautiful about the simplistic way in which each sheet of lavash is made in this video.

This video is in Armenian and per the description it is shot in Katnaghpur village, Armenia. It is uploaded by ArmeNyan and it’s about 6 and half minutes.
