Let’s start with some impressive appetizers:
Talking about FANCY!!! Last New Year’s Eve I posted about how Persians eat Caviar!
No Persian party should ever be denied a Herb & Feta Cheese Platter!
Speaking of Feta cheese, how about these really yummy Cucumber, Feta, & Walnut bites??!!
Brie en Croûte!! Do I need to say more??!!
Adding some bright colors to the table is always a good thing! How about some Mast-o-Laboo??!
How about serving the Mast-o-Laboo with some homemade Pita Chips.
You can’t ever go wrong with a Kalbas Platter!!
Dolmeh or Stuffed Grape Leaves are always a great appetizer option too!!
Who can resist Vol-au-vent??
Continuing with some salads!
Everyone loves Salad Shirazi!!
Holidays Season 2010 most favorite Salad: Festive Salad with Pomegranate Vinaigrette
Another head turner: Avocado Salad with Saffron Balsamic
Some main dish ideas:
In Persian culture noodles or reshteh are a must on the table!! Asheh Reshteh
Reshteh Polow is so good!!
Sabzi Polow is another must when celebrating a new year too!
Let’s not forget about Gigot!! A good roast is always a good thing!!!
