Foodie Photo Friday

by My Persian Kitchen on May 4, 2012

A few times a year, my friend Kumar and I visit Little India, located in north Orange County for some delicious South Indian food.  Right now I am totally craving our favorite restaurant’s Hors d’oeuvre plate, a mix of Idly, Medhu Vada, Bhajia, Sp. Bonda & Cutlet served with Sambar & Chutney.

Mmmmh, that looks delicious! My uncle is from Sri Lanka and spent a few years in India. He tought me a few dishes and we love cooking with each other :) Also, half his family joins him every summer for a biiiiig party with loads of Indian / Sri Lankan food and there is always such a big variety of dishes, I almost have to make a chart or something (I’m German, we love making charts, haha) to keep track of which of them I’ve already tried and which I have yet to taste. Mmmmh, now I’m craving Indian food too :D Have a great weekend!!
