I have been hearing about this Unami Burger joint for a while. I never really gave it much of a thought even though everyone seemed to be over the top in love with it. The Sous Chef and I were out and about in the Westside last Saturday night and the closes eating joint that sounded good and was close was Unami on La Brea.
I looked over the burger list and I immediately knew I was going to order the Truffle Burger, given my love affair with truffles, until our waitress told us about their special which was a Truffle Poutine Burger. My eyes widened with delight and I salivated with every ingredient that she listed: Fries topped with Burger with Truffle Glaze, house made Truffle Cheese and finished with Truffle Mushroom Gravy and Shiitakes mushrooms. Simply delish!
