Happy Halloween!
It started as Lady in Red, then it transitioned into Little Lady in Red, and then a thought came to my mind. She looks like a Pomegranate! So here is one more post for “Pomegranate Week:” My Pomegranate Dog!!!” She is such a good sport, I tell ya!
Happy Halloween!
What are you dressing up as? I am going to be a little devil! 🙂

Chef,
The color is great on the finished picture. My pommegramate paste was on the liquid side too. Next time, I hope to get a color like yours. It is making me hungry and it is not yet 7:00 am here.

Hi MPK,
I just discovered your website yesterday – and have been through the entire archive! I am Danish and live in Denmark, but my boyfriend (or whatever you call it when you’re 33 and he’s 45) is from Iran and he has introduced me to Persian food. Yummy! His mom was here last week and I learned a handful of recipes but I have to say, your recipes are easier to follow. While my mother-in-law was here, she did the cooking and I was trying to keep up and take notes, but it was all “a handful” and “a pinch” and “a dash” and so, my notes read something like “2, no 3, no 4½ tbsp of turmeric, more or less” 🙂
Anyhow, just wanted to say thanks for a great site, I will pop back regularly for inspiration and am sure you will help me earn many many brownie points!

Thanks for your awesome comment Tine! It is actually funny that you mentioned the way Persians share recipes. I go through this myself all the time and I was just thinking the other day I should write a post about it as it would be humorous!
Let me know how your cooking comes along! I would love to hear all about it. 🙂
